Cabin 1 - cabins 2, 5, and 6 very similar
Cabins
were built in the mid 1950's. They are stick-built structures on crawl spaces. They have
Masonite siding and asphalt/fiberglass composite roof shingles, which are in good
condition. All cabin exteriors were painted in 2005.
Overall condition of the cabins is good
with the exception that some have uneven floors. This is caused by a normal settling of
the support piers and is not expensive or difficult to repair. The current owners have not
leveled the floors because the condition does not seem to bother guests.
Wiring and plumbing are mostly original
installations and in good working condition. Wiring is all copper with fuse entrance
panels. Plumbing is steel and copper. Cabins are all electric with window or wall unit air
conditioners and wall unit electric heaters.
Furniture and furnishings are in good
clean condition with most items being newer. Ranges are all newer models. Several
refrigerators are newer models as well. Each cabin has a microwave oven, coffeemaker, and satellite TVs. All kitchens are furnished with cookware, tableware,
and utensils. |
