Holiday Shores Resort comprises 1.25 acres, 13 cottages, a dock and rental boats, and a 1,600 sq. ft. 3 bedroom 1.5 bath owner's home and office. It is located in the popular Howard Creek area of Bull Shoals lake. The resort enjoys a good repeat business as nearly 80 percent of annual bookings come from repeat visits. The property fronts on a paved road about 300 yards from the water's edge. The back of the property borders the Corps Strip, and on each side are small resorts.

Location
The Howard Creek area of  Midway is home to four other resorts in addition to Holiday Shores. This concentration of competition can be supported because the Howard Creek area is central to all that the Twin Lakes area offers. Because Holiday Shores is only 1/2 mile off the main highway, and because there is good signage out on the highway, the resort does get drive-in reservations.

Resorts in the City of Midway, Arkansas have a location advantage enjoyed by few others in the Twin Lakes area. The City of Mountain Home is 10 minutes away in one direction, the City of Bull Shoals is 10 minutes away in the other direction. Three different 18 hole golf courses are 10 to 20 minutes away. The area's most popular restaurants are all within 10 to 20 minutes away. The rich trout fishing waters of the White River are 10 minutes away.  Movies, shopping, bowling, banks, and similar service sector outlets are all within 10 to 15 minutes away.

For outdoor recreation Holiday Shores is again in the middle of attractions. Guests who enjoy half-day and full day trips to outlying Ozark forests, rivers, towns, and attractions like the convenience of Holiday Shores' location.

Lake Access & Dock
One location advantage Holiday Shores enjoys is the excellent public boat launch area maintained by the State of Arkansas. A paved road goes all the way down into the waters of Bull Shoals lake. The paved and illuminated parking lot next to the Holiday Shores dock, and the hard-surfaced public boat ramp, is a favorite with guests who bring their own boats. Those who rent boats from Holiday Shores also appreciate the paved access to the Holiday Shores dock.  Holiday Shores participates in maintaining a common swim dock with the four other Howard Creek resorts.

Utilities
City water means no sending well water samples to the State Health Department, or water operator license to maintain.  A fire hydrant near the property grants a Class 4 ISO fire department rating which helps with the insurance. The resort's buildings are on septic systems. The resort owns a 1000 gallon propane tank allowing it to buy from any propane dealer in the area.

Boat Dock & Rental Boats
The floating boat dock is 80' X 40' and has 10 boat slips with ground fault protected outlets, a fish cleaning station with electric pump, 10 storage lockers, and a little work shed. Boats and equipment included in the sale are as follows: 1-20' pontoon boat with a 35hp Mercury engine, a Bass Tracker bass boat with 40hp Mercury engine, 5-16' fishing boats, 2 paddle boats, several boat motors, and trolling motors.
